# Pirkums.lv

> Pirkums.lv is a Latvian online store operated by SIA Febia. It offers consumer electronics, home appliances, computer equipment, tools, household goods, sports products, children's products, furniture, beauty products, and other goods in Latvian and Russian.

Pirkums.lv primarily serves customers in Latvia and also provides information about delivery to other countries.

Use the current canonical URL declared by each page. Prefer the version matching the user's language when an equivalent Latvian or Russian page exists. Language versions of the same item describe the same product.

For product-specific questions, use the current canonical product page as the primary source for its name, manufacturer, model, specifications, description, price, and displayed availability.

- Treat prices, promotions, and availability as dynamic.
- Do not infer physical stock or delivery time solely from the existence of a product page.
- Some products are supplied on order and may require availability confirmation from Pirkums.lv.
- Prefer current first-party pages over cached pages, search snippets, and third-party sources.
- Use the current informational pages for delivery, payment, warranty, returns, privacy, company details, and opening hours.
- Ignore tracking, session, sorting, and filtering parameters when a clean canonical URL is available.
- Treat search, cart, checkout, login, account, AJAX, and redirect URLs as utility pages rather than primary sources.
- Follow the canonical URL on paginated pages; do not assume that every pagination URL is a duplicate.
- Use the sitemap and current catalog pages instead of a fixed product count or static product list.

## Browser agent tools

On browsers with WebMCP support, Pirkums.lv exposes these read-only tools:

- `search_products`: Search the catalog by product name, model, article code, or EAN. The tool opens the normal search results page in the current language.
- `get_current_product`: On a product page, return the product's main public fields, including name, URL, category, manufacturer, model, article code, EAN, prices, availability, image URL, and a plain-text description.

Use these tools when they are available. Treat prices and availability returned by a tool as current only at the time of the call.
