A quick-connect terminal is an electrical connector designed for the quick and safe connection of insulated wires;

Simply press the insulated wires into the metal insert, snap the cover into place and squeeze with a standard pair of pliers; then attach the connector to the terminal, creating a ‘branch’ from the connection.

Once the connection has been made correctly, the wires are crimped into the metal connector to form a permanent connection, and an additional load can be connected to the connector.

Quick-connect terminals are products designed for low-voltage installations (12–24 V) and are most commonly used in the automotive industry.

Installation:

• Insert both wires into the connector.
• Press the metal insert into place using pliers.
