The parking sensor is an indispensable aid both whilst driving and when parking. The rear sensors make parking easier, even with a large car, whilst the rear-view camera feed allows you to see exactly what is behind the vehicle.

The sensor has a built-in video mixer, allowing it to display the image from the connected reversing camera alongside a digitally generated distance indicator.

The device is particularly useful in crowded car parks, during rain or snow, and when visibility is limited, for example at night. By indicating the distance and direction of an obstacle, we can avoid unnecessary expenses and a great deal of inconvenience caused by even the slightest scratches to the bumper.

The CAM-305 LED 28mm reversing camera is a modern camera with a ‘Night vision’ function – additional LEDs provide extra lighting. The high-resolution 4.3-inch TFT display provides an excellent view of the area directly behind the vehicle. The parking sensor is a device designed to assist with parking and reversing. It operates on the principle of sonar – it emits ultrasonic waves which, upon reflection from an obstacle, allow the system to determine the distance between the car and the obstacle. When reversing, the device accurately detects obstacles in the vehicle’s path and alerts the driver with an audible signal (proportional to the distance from the obstacle) or via an LED display.
