A quick-connect terminal is an electrical connector designed for the quick and safe connection of insulated wires;

Simply push the insulated wires into the metal insert, snap the cover into place and squeeze with a standard pair of pliers; then attach a connector to the terminal block to create a ‘branch’ from the connection.

Once the connection has been made correctly, the wires are pressed into the metal connector, forming a permanent connection, and an additional load can be connected to the connector.

Quick-connect terminals are products designed for low-voltage installations (12–24 V) and are most commonly used in the automotive industry.
