HOW TO FIT IT?

1. Place the cover over the handlebars so that the leather seam is at the bottom and in the centre of the handlebars. Sew the cover from one arm to the other; to begin with, measure out the appropriate length of the thread supplied with the set. This is roughly twice the length of the section to be sewn, i.e. from one arm to the other.

2. Start at one end, inserting the needle from the inside of the leather.

3. Sew around the steering wheel, weaving the thread through every other stitch, making S-shaped movements. Remember to catch only the thread, without piercing the leather.

4. Pull the thread tight so that the edge of the leather joins neatly.
